Saving just one dog won't change the world... but surely the world will change for that one dog (unknown)
FRANKIE
Hi everyone, my name is Frankie. I'm almost three years old. Foster mom says I'm a pretty red color and am very tall and slender. I love to run and play with other small dogs which helps me keep my boyish figure.
Sometimes I can be a little shy around new people, but
once I get to know you, I'm super friendly. I like having my own crate and am happy to sleep in there for a few hours if you have to go out. Foster mom says I'm doing
great with my pottying. I've learned that if I go to the door and make noises, she will let me out and I can do my business. I don't mind if I go outside to potty on a leash - it's all the same to me. I like to sleep in my own bed next to foster mom's and I like it when she throws a fleecy soft blanket over me.
One more thing, foster mom took me to the vet to have my back knee looked at. Sometimes it pops out of place, but being the smart boy that I am, I know how to pop it back in place by sitting. Since it doesn't slow me down or cause me any problems, I don't need to have surgery. Whew!
I like being at my foster parent's house, but would really love to have a family of my own. If you think you could be my forever home, please contact Lisa at l_clouthier@yahoo.com

DORA
Howdy, my name is Dora. I am a six year old tan and white female. I lived the first six years of my life in a puppy mill. When my foster mom picked me up, I was very scared of everything and everyone. Due to a genetic defect, I had a heart condition called a patent ductus arteriosus or PDA for short. Everyone was amazed that I had lived as long as I had with this condition. After being rescued, I underwent a heart surgery to fix this condition. The vets at Michigan State University said I have made a full recovery with minimal residual damage to my heart….what a miracle!!!
My foster mom has been so patient with me while I begin to learn to trust humans and get my medical care taken care of. She has taught me how to walk on a leash, ride in a car, to be held, take naps with her in her bed (this is my favorite), and “go potty” outside.
Another thing that has been taken care of

now that I am in rescue is my teeth. I did not get the dental attention that I needed while at the puppy mill, as a result I have had to have several teeth pulled. I am on a mostly moist food diet now, with a little dry food mixed in.
I am looking for a forever home that will be patient with me as I continue to learn how to trust humans. I like being with you, but I am still not quite sure of everything. I have two foster brothers that I am also learning how to play with. Being able to run freely around the house and look outside is something that I never was able to do before being rescued. I am hoping that my forever home has another IG that is gentle, loving, and likes to snuggle. I am learning how to sleep under a blanket, but must have my head out!! I am also comfortable sleeping by myself in my crate. However, if I am the only IG at my forever home, that is ok too. That just means I get more kisses and hugs. If you are looking for a sweet, eager to please, and mild natured IG…then I am the IG for you! If you think that I am the girl for you, please contact Lisa at l_clouthier@yahoo.com.

BAILEY
Hi, my name is Bailey and I'm 6 years old. Ellie (bio below) and I came into rescue together. We're buddies and it would be great if we could be adopted together, but if we each find our own forever home that's ok too. Foster mom says I'm a fun, playful dog who is very happy and outgoing. I can be a little shy at first, but with a little kindness, I warm up fast and my tail doesn't stop wagging! Foster mom says my potty training is going well and I'm trying real hard even in this cold weather. I like sleeping in my crate and I walk well on a leash. I will need a forever home with a secure fence because sometimes I feel like exploring and have been known to escape. If you think you could be my forever home, please email l_clouthier@yahoo.com for more information.

ELLIE
Hi everyone, my name is Ellie. I'm 8 years young and am a petite 9 lbs. As you can tell from my photo, I'm a very pretty girl and don't look a day over 5. As Bailey said, we came into rescue together. Like him, I crate well and walk well on a leash. Foster mom says I'm also doing well with my potty training.
I would prefer a quiet home without any large dogs or cats - another small ig would be okay; however, I'm more of a cuddle bunny and would prefer a human who can spend time with me. Afterall, I am a princess.
I will also need a home with a secure fence. If you think you could be my forever home and have the time to spend with me, please contact l_clouthier@yahoo.com for more information.
I can only be adopted in Michigan and surrounding states.

SPEEDY
Hi, My name is Speedy and I will be 12 years young in January. Please don't disregard me just because I'm a senior. I still have lots of love to give and would love to have a forever family of my own.
When I came into rescue, my mouth hurt and I was very skinny. Foster mom brought me to a dog doctor and I had some teeth pulled and now sometimes my tongue hangs out, but everyone says it's really cute. I also gained three pounds and have a really soft thick coat.
I love to cuddle and really enjoy sleeping with foster mom and dad. I like to race around the house with my foster brothers and sisters. I was born with a broken ankle and it looks a little funny now, but it doesn't bother me.
Foster mom says my potty habits are good. I try to tell her I have to go outside by going to the door and doing a little dance and barking.
I'm not wimpy like some of my foster brothers... I don't mind going out if it's snowing or raining. I also like wearing clothes. I have a coat and jammies which I'll take with me to my new home.
I get along well with other dogs and cats, but I'd really like to have a human all to myself. If you think you could give me my forever home, please contact l_clouthier@yahoo.com for more information.I can only be adopted in Michigan and surrounding states.

AUGGIE
Hi everybody, my name is August but everyone calls me Auggie. I'm only five years young and am on the biggy iggy side at 19 lbs. Foster mom says I'm 19 lbs of sugar because I'm super sweet and love to give kisses.
I enjoy sleeping in bed with my people, playing with my foster brothers, squeaking squeak toys and cuddling on the couch with foster mom and dad.
Foster mom says I'm doing great with my pottying, even in cold Michigan weather and snow. I also know how to use a piddle pad. Before rescue, I spent a lot of time in a crate and now going in a crates scares me. I'd rather be in an ex pen or small room when you have to leave me.
My ideal forever home would include another dog to play with, a fenced yard, and someone who is home a lot. I get nervous in new situations so a quieter home, without younger children, would be best. When I get nervous, I circle. Foster mom says I'm a circler because that's how I deal with stress.
If you think you could be my forever home, please contact l_clouthier@yahoo.com for more information. I can only be adopted in Michigan and surrounding states.
